तस्यैवं ब्रुवतो धातुः क्रतुर्नारायणांशजः । प्रोवाच प्रहसन्वाक्यं रोषताम्रविलोचनः
tasyaivaṃ bruvato dhātuḥ kraturnārāyaṇāṃśajaḥ | provāca prahasanvākyaṃ roṣatāmravilocanaḥ
เมื่อเขากล่าวดังนั้น กรตุผู้เป็นธาตฤ—ผู้สร้างซึ่งบังเกิดจากส่วนหนึ่งแห่งนารายณะ—ก็หัวเราะ แล้วกล่าวตอบด้วยถ้อยคำ ดวงตาแดงดั่งทองแดงเพราะโทสะ
