समा यया महेशस्य मोहितो लोकसंभवः । अविज्ञाय परं भावमात्मानं प्राह वर्पिणम्

samā yayā maheśasya mohito lokasaṃbhavaḥ | avijñāya paraṃ bhāvamātmānaṃ prāha varpiṇam

ด้วยมายานั้นเองซึ่งมีกำลังลวงเท่าเทียมกัน ผู้ให้กำเนิดโลกคือพรหมาจึงหลงมัวต่อมหาอิศวร ครั้นไม่รู้ภาวะสูงสุด ก็กล่าวตนเองว่าเป็นผู้ทรงกาย (ผู้ยิ่งใหญ่)
