पुरा पितामहं विप्र मेरुशृंगे महर्षयः । प्रोचुः प्रणम्य लोकेशं किमेकं तत्त्वमव्ययम्
purā pitāmahaṃ vipra meruśṛṃge maharṣayaḥ | procuḥ praṇamya lokeśaṃ kimekaṃ tattvamavyayam
ดูก่อนพราหมณ์ กาลก่อน ณ ยอดเขาพระสุเมรุ เหล่ามหาฤษีได้กราบนอบน้อมแด่พระโลกีศวร แล้วทูลถามว่า “สัจตัตตวะอันหนึ่งเดียวซึ่งไม่เสื่อมสูญนั้นคืออะไร?”
