janakaḥ śubhatithyādau videśagamanāpaham | ṣaṣṭhe'nnaprāśanaṃmāsi na kṛtaṃ vidhipūrvakam

Translation

ในกาลแห่งติถีอันเป็นมงคล—พิธีที่กล่าวกันว่าปัดเป่าการไปแดนไกล—บิดาของเขาก็มิได้ประกอบ ‘อันนะปราศนะ’ (ป้อนอาหารครั้งแรก) ในเดือนที่หกตามวิธีอันถูกต้อง
