ครั้นพวกนางบำเพ็ญตบะอย่างเข้มข้นแล้ว ก็ได้ถึงนครไวศเวศวรี (กาศี) ณ ที่นั้นได้บูชาพระมหาเทวะ และได้สักการะโสมะ—ผู้เป็นเครื่องประดับแห่งจันทรา เจ้าแห่งนักษัตร—ให้ทรงพอพระทัยด้วย
