पलायमानो निहतः क्षणात्पंचत्वमागतः । अभक्षयच्च नैवेद्यं भाविपुण्यबलान्न सः

palāyamāno nihataḥ kṣaṇātpaṃcatvamāgataḥ | abhakṣayacca naivedyaṃ bhāvipuṇyabalānna saḥ

ขณะหลบหนี เขาถูกฟันล้มและในพริบตาก็ถึงความตาย แต่ด้วยกำลังบุญที่จะบังเกิดในภายหน้า เขามิได้ลิ้มกินไนเวทยะ คือภักษาหารที่ถวายไว้
