विद्याजातं समस्तं च साक्षिमात्राद्गुरोर्मुखात् । विनयादिगुणानाविष्कुर्वञ्जग्राह शक्तिमान्

vidyājātaṃ samastaṃ ca sākṣimātrādgurormukhāt | vinayādiguṇānāviṣkurvañjagrāha śaktimān

วิชาความรู้ทั้งปวงที่พึงได้มา เขารับโดยตรงจากโอษฐ์ของครูประหนึ่งเป็นเพียงผู้เป็นสักขีพยาน และแม้มีความสามารถ เขาก็รับไว้พร้อมแสดงคุณธรรม เช่น วินัย คือความนอบน้อมถ่อมตน และคุณงามความดีอื่น ๆ
