गृहानायांतमालोक्य गुरुंवाऽगुरुमेव वा । योऽगुरुर्नम्रतां धत्ते स गुरुर्न गुरुर्गुरुः
gṛhānāyāṃtamālokya guruṃvā'gurumeva vā | yo'gururnamratāṃ dhatte sa gururna gururguruḥ
ไม่ว่าผู้ที่มาถึงเรือนจะเป็นครูบาอาจารย์หรือมิใช่ก็ตาม ผู้ใดแม้ ‘มิใช่ครู’ แต่ทรงไว้ซึ่งความถ่อมตน ผู้นั้นคือครูแท้; ส่วน ‘ครู’ ผู้หยิ่งผยอง ย่อมไม่ใช่ครูเลย
