चिंतयामास तत्रासौ मर्त्यतां यास्यतो मम । को वा पिता भवेद्भूमौ का वा माता भविष्यति
ciṃtayāmāsa tatrāsau martyatāṃ yāsyato mama | ko vā pitā bhavedbhūmau kā vā mātā bhaviṣyati
แล้วเขาก็รำพึงอยู่ ณ ที่นั้นว่า “เมื่อเราจักเข้าสู่ความเป็นมนุษย์ในมรรตยโลก บนแผ่นดินนี้ใครเล่าจะเป็นบิดาของเรา และใครจักเป็นมารดาของเรา”
