विधिवत्पूजयामास पाद्यार्घ्याचमनीयकैः । उवाच च महीपालं धर्मार्थसहितं वचः

vidhivatpūjayāmāsa pādyārghyācamanīyakaiḥ | uvāca ca mahīpālaṃ dharmārthasahitaṃ vacaḥ

แล้วท่านได้บูชาตามพระวินัยด้วยน้ำล้างเท้า (ปาทยะ) เครื่องสักการะ (อรฆยะ) และน้ำสำหรับอาจมนะ จากนั้นจึงกล่าวถ้อยคำแก่พระราชา อันประกอบด้วยธรรมะและอรรถะอันชอบ
