पुलस्त्यतनयं प्राह कृतांजलिपुटा द्विजाः । भगवदीदृशाः पुत्रास्त्वत्तः प्राप्तुं न युज्यते

pulastyatanayaṃ prāha kṛtāṃjalipuṭā dvijāḥ | bhagavadīdṛśāḥ putrāstvattaḥ prāptuṃ na yujyate

เหล่าพราหมณ์ประนมมือด้วยความเคารพ แล้วกล่าวแก่โอรสของปุลัสตยะ (วิศรวัส) ว่า “ข้าแต่ภควาน ผู้ควรสักการะ บุตรผู้มีธรรมอันเป็นทิพย์เช่นนี้ ไม่สมควรได้มาจากท่านด้วยวิธีเช่นนี้”
