सुरा पानादयो विप्रा नश्यंत्येवात्र मज्जनात् । सत्यंसत्यं पुनः सत्यमुद्धृत्य भुजमुच्यते
surā pānādayo viprā naśyaṃtyevātra majjanāt | satyaṃsatyaṃ punaḥ satyamuddhṛtya bhujamucyate
ดูก่อนพราหมณ์ทั้งหลาย ที่นี่บาปอย่างการดื่มสุราเป็นต้น ย่อมดับสิ้นแน่นอนด้วยการจุ่มกายลงอาบน้ำ ‘จริงแท้ จริงแท้—ยิ่งกว่านั้นจริงแท้!’—ประกาศดังนี้พร้อมยกแขนขึ้น
