ครั้นแล้วในระหว่างนั้น มหามุนีสูตะ ผู้ทรงปัญญายิ่ง เป็นศิษย์แห่งพระวยาสะ และเป็นยอดแห่งผู้เล่าปุราณะ ได้มาถึงไนมิษารัณยะ
