Sūta (continuation from previous verse)
Tirtha: Dharmakūpa-vāpī / Āditīrtha
Type: kund
Scene: A serene sacred pool beside a well (kūpa) under ancient trees; a devotee in white performs tarpaṇa with cupped hands, water streaming back into the tīrtha; subtle presence of pitṛs receiving offerings in a luminous, calm atmosphere.
Ancestral welfare is central to dharma: tarpaṇa at a consecrated tīrtha is said to reach even exalted classes of Pitṛs.
The sacred vāpī (pool), contextually Dharmavāpī.
Tarpaṇa at the vāpī for the Pitṛs, yielding their highest contentment.
