เมื่ออาศัยอยู่ ณ ฝั่งแม่น้ำนรมทา แม้มีเพียงผัก ใบเขียว รากและผลไม้เรียบง่าย หากถวายภัตตาหารแก่พราหมณ์เพียงหนึ่งรูป ย่อมได้บุญเสมือนเลี้ยงผู้คนสิบล้านคน
