पादोद्भूतं पयः पीत्वा सर्वपापं प्रणश्यति । वेदवत्यां नरो यस्तु स्नाति सूर्योदये शुभे
pādodbhūtaṃ payaḥ pītvā sarvapāpaṃ praṇaśyati | vedavatyāṃ naro yastu snāti sūryodaye śubhe
เมื่อดื่มน้ำที่เกิดจากการชำระล้างพระบาท บาปทั้งปวงย่อมพินาศ และบุรุษผู้ใดอาบน้ำในแม่น้ำเวทวตี ณ ยามอรุณอันเป็นมงคล ผู้นั้นก็ได้ความบริสุทธิ์เช่นกัน
