caitraśuklāṣṭamīṃ yāvatsyaṃdanāśvādisūdanam | caitraśuklanavamyāṃ tu saumitreḥ śaktibhedane

จนถึงวันอัษฏมีแห่งปักษ์สว่างเดือนจัยตรา มีการทำลายรถศึก ม้า และสิ่งอื่น ๆ; และในวันนวมีก็เกิดเหตุที่ศัสตรา “ศักติ” แทงทะลุโสมิตรี (ลักษมณะ)
