skaṃdāya kathitaṃ caiva śarveṇa ca mahātmanā | ānupūrvyeṇa sarvaṃ hi kathayasva tvameva hi

เรื่องนี้มหาตมะศรวะ (พระศิวะ) ได้กล่าวแก่พระสกันทะแล้ว เพราะฉะนั้นท่านจงเล่าทุกสิ่งตามลำดับให้ครบถ้วนด้วยตนเองเถิด
