पालनात्पोषणान्नॄणां धर्मो भवति वै ध्रुवम् । तत्तद्धर्मस्य भोक्ता त्वमित्येवं मनुरब्रवीत्

pālanātpoṣaṇānnṝṇāṃ dharmo bhavati vai dhruvam | tattaddharmasya bhoktā tvamityevaṃ manurabravīt

แท้จริงแล้ว ธรรมะย่อมตั้งมั่นด้วยการคุ้มครองและอุปถัมภ์ผู้คน เพราะฉะนั้น ท่านนี่เองเป็นผู้เสวยผลและเป็นผู้รับผิดชอบต่อธรรมะนั้น—ดังที่พระมนูกล่าวไว้
