पुनः संस्तभ्य यत्नेन चेतसो विकृतिं बुधः । मुहूर्तं विस्मयाविष्टो न किंचित्प्रत्यभाषत

Transliteration

punaḥ saṃstabhya yatnena cetaso vikṛtiṃ budhaḥ | muhūrtaṃ vismayāviṣṭo na kiṃcitpratyabhāṣata

Translation

แล้วบัณฑิตผู้นั้นก็พยายามประคองความปั่นป่วนแห่งจิตให้มั่นคง; ทว่าอยู่ชั่วครู่หนึ่งกลับตกอยู่ในความพิศวง จึงมิได้ตอบสิ่งใด
