ข้าแต่มหาราช พึงทำการตื่นเฝ้า (ชาครณะ) ตลอดราตรีต่อหน้าพระเทวะ แล้วบูชาพราหมณ์ผู้ทรงวัตรอันสรรเสริญด้วยข้าวคลุกนมเปรี้ยว และถวายโคทาน; พิธีนี้เป็นยอดแห่งการชำระ บันดาลให้บาปทั้งปวงสิ้นไป
