तत्र स्नात्वा तु यो भक्त्या तर्पयेत्पितृदेवताः । पितरस्तस्य तृप्यन्ति यावदाभूतसम्प्लवम्

tatra snātvā tu yo bhaktyā tarpayetpitṛdevatāḥ | pitarastasya tṛpyanti yāvadābhūtasamplavam

ผู้ใดอาบน้ำ ณ ที่นั้นด้วยศรัทธา แล้วถวายตัรปณะ (น้ำบูชา) แด่ปิตฤและเหล่าเทวะ—บรรพชนของผู้นั้นย่อมอิ่มเอมสันติ ตราบจนถึงกาลมหาปรลัย
