चित्रसेन उवाच । अर्घस्यास्य न योग्योऽहं महर्षे नास्मि भाषणे । मृगमध्यस्थितो विप्रस्तव पुत्रो मया हतः
citrasena uvāca | arghasyāsya na yogyo'haṃ maharṣe nāsmi bhāṣaṇe | mṛgamadhyasthito viprastava putro mayā hataḥ
จิตรเสนกล่าวว่า: "ข้าแต่พระมหาฤาษี ข้าพระองค์ไม่คู่ควรกับเครื่องบูชานี้ ข้าพระองค์ไม่สมควรที่จะเอ่ยวาจา ข้าแต่พราหมณ์ บุตรชายของท่านผู้ยืนอยู่ท่ามกลางฝูงกวาง ถูกข้าพระองค์สังหารเสียแล้ว"
