दिनैकभोजनाः केचित्केचित्कन्दफलाशनाः । त्रिरात्रभोजनाः केचित्पराकव्रतिनोऽपरे

dinaikabhojanāḥ kecitkecitkandaphalāśanāḥ | trirātrabhojanāḥ kecitparākavratino'pare

บางพวกฉันอาหารเพียงวันละครั้ง; บางพวกดำรงชีพด้วยหัวเผือกหัวมันและผลไม้. บางพวกฉันเพียงครั้งเดียวทุกสามราตรี ส่วนอีกพวกถือพรตปารากะ (Parāka) อันเคร่งครัด.
