समर्थस्तारयेद्द्वौ तु काष्ठं शुष्कं यथा जले । यथा नौश्च तथा विद्वान्प्रापयेदपरं तटम्

samarthastārayeddvau tu kāṣṭhaṃ śuṣkaṃ yathā jale | yathā nauśca tathā vidvānprāpayedaparaṃ taṭam

แต่ผู้ที่สมควรและมีกำลังย่อมพาข้ามได้ถึงสอง—ดุจไม้แห้งลอยอยู่บนน้ำ. ประหนึ่งเรือ ฉันนั้นบัณฑิตผู้รู้ย่อมนำผู้อื่นไปถึงฝั่งโน้นได้.
