atha yo bhojayedviprān pitḥnuddiśya bhārata | tasya te dvādaśābdāni modante divi tarpitāḥ

ยิ่งกว่านั้น โอ ภารตะ ผู้ใดเลี้ยงภัตตาหารแก่พราหมณ์โดยอุทิศแด่ปิตฤ บรรดาปิตฤของผู้นั้นเมื่ออิ่มเอิบแล้ว ย่อมรื่นรมย์ในสวรรค์ตลอดสิบสองปี
