मोक्षतीर्थं हि सत्प्राहुः पुराणपुरुषाश्रितम् । भृगोः क्षेत्रे च तीर्थानां कोटिरेका समाश्रिता
mokṣatīrthaṃ hi satprāhuḥ purāṇapuruṣāśritam | bhṛgoḥ kṣetre ca tīrthānāṃ koṭirekā samāśritā
ผู้ทรงธรรมเรียกที่นี่ว่า ‘โมกษะ-ทีรถะ’ เพราะเป็นที่พึ่งอาศัยแห่งปุราณปุรุษ ผู้เป็นบุรุษดั้งเดิม และในเขตศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของภฤคุ กล่าวกันว่ามีทีรถะตั้งอยู่หนึ่งโกฏิและอีกหนึ่ง
