अष्टम्यां वा चतुर्दश्यां वैशाखे मासि पूर्ववत् । दीपं पिष्टमयं कृत्वा पितॄन् सर्वान् विमोक्षयेत्

aṣṭamyāṃ vā caturdaśyāṃ vaiśākhe māsi pūrvavat | dīpaṃ piṣṭamayaṃ kṛtvā pitṝn sarvān vimokṣayet

Translation

หรือในวันขึ้น ๘ ค่ำ หรือวันขึ้น ๑๔ ค่ำ แห่งเดือนไวศาขะ ดังที่กล่าวไว้ก่อนนั้น เมื่อปั้นประทีปจากแป้งแล้ว ย่อมยังบรรพชนทั้งปวงให้พ้นพันธะได้
