श्रीमार्कण्डेय उवाच । भृगुतीर्थं ततो गच्छेत्तीर्थराजमनुत्तमम् । पैतामहं महापुण्यं सर्वपातकनाशनम्

ศรีมารกัณฑेयกล่าวว่า: ต่อจากนั้นพึงไปยังภฤคุตีรถะ—ราชาแห่งตีรถะอันหาที่เปรียบมิได้ เรียกว่า ‘ไพตามหะ’ เปี่ยมมหาบุญ และทำลายบาปทั้งปวง
