duṣkṛtaṃ pūrvajaṃ bhoktuṃ dhruvaṃ tadupaśāmyati
Narrator (contextual)
Scene: A contemplative sage or brāhmaṇa reflecting on the law of karma: a balance-like motif, dark cloud of past deed dissolving after being ‘lived through’, calm face indicating acceptance.
Karmic demerit ends by ripening; patient endurance helps one pass through it until it subsides.
None directly in this verse; it is a karma teaching set within the Revā Khaṇḍa narrative.
No explicit ritual; the implied practice is forbearance and acceptance while karma is exhausted.
