ऋषय ऊचुः । ब्रूहि शम्भो किमत्रायं अकस्माद्वारिसम्भवः । विष्णोः पादाम्बुजोत्थश्च सम्मोहकरणः परः
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | brūhi śambho kimatrāyaṃ akasmādvārisambhavaḥ | viṣṇoḥ pādāmbujotthaśca sammohakaraṇaḥ paraḥ
เหล่าฤๅษีกล่าวว่า “ขอทรงบอกเถิด โอ้ศัมภู! เหตุใดจึงมีสายน้ำบังเกิดขึ้นที่นี่โดยฉับพลัน? และไฉนจึงหลั่งออกจากพระบาทดุจดอกบัวของพระวิษณุ ทำให้สรรพผู้คนพิศวงและเกิดความตะลึงอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์?”
