न वयं गीतनृत्येन नाङ्गचेष्टादिभाषितैः । लुब्धा वै विषयैर्मन्ये विषया दारुणात्मकाः

na vayaṃ gītanṛtyena nāṅgaceṣṭādibhāṣitaiḥ | lubdhā vai viṣayairmanye viṣayā dāruṇātmakāḥ

เรามิได้หลงใหลด้วยบทเพลงและการร่ายรำ มิได้หวั่นไหวด้วยกิริยาท่าทางและวาจายั่วยวน เราเห็นว่าวัตถุแห่งอายตนะทั้งหลายแท้จริงมีสภาพดุร้ายรุนแรง
