श्रुत्वा तां मधुरां वाणीं स्वयं देवेन निर्मिताम् । संभ्रान्ता ब्राह्मणाः सर्वे स्नातुं ये तत्र चागताः

śrutvā tāṃ madhurāṃ vāṇīṃ svayaṃ devena nirmitām | saṃbhrāntā brāhmaṇāḥ sarve snātuṃ ye tatra cāgatāḥ

ครั้นได้ยินวาจาอันหวานไพเราะนั้น ซึ่งพระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงรังสรรค์ด้วยพระองค์เอง บรรดาพราหมณ์ทั้งหลายที่มาที่นั่นเพื่ออาบน้ำชำระ ต่างตื่นตะลึงและหวั่นไหว
