एवमुक्ते तया वाक्ये स्तम्भितेऽर्के तमोमयम् । न च प्रजायते सर्वं निर्वषट्कारसत्क्रियम्
evamukte tayā vākye stambhite'rke tamomayam | na ca prajāyate sarvaṃ nirvaṣaṭkārasatkriyam
เมื่อเธอกล่าวถ้อยคำนั้น พระอาทิตย์ก็ถูกหยุดไว้ และทุกสิ่งกลายเป็นความมืด. แล้วสิ่งทั้งปวงไม่ดำเนินตามควร—ไม่มีเสียงวษฏ์ (vaṣaṭ), ไม่มีพิธีกรรมศักดิ์สิทธิ์, ไม่มีการประพฤติอันถูกต้อง.
