देवपन्न उवाच । यदि तुष्टासि देवेशि वरार्हो यदि वाप्यहम् । पुत्रसन्तानरहितं संतप्तं मां समुद्धर
devapanna uvāca | yadi tuṣṭāsi deveśi varārho yadi vāpyaham | putrasantānarahitaṃ saṃtaptaṃ māṃ samuddhara
เทวปันนะกล่าวว่า “โอ้เทวีผู้เป็นนายเหนือเทพ หากพระองค์พอพระทัย และหากข้าพเจ้าคู่ควรแก่พร ก็ขอทรงยกข้าพเจ้าขึ้นจากความทุกข์นี้—ข้าพเจ้าผู้ไร้บุตรและวงศ์สกุล”
