saptamyāmupavāsena taddine cāpyupoṣite | sa tatphalamavāpnoti tatra snātvā na saṃśayaḥ

ด้วยการถืออุโบสถในวันสัปตมี และดำรงการอดอาหารในวันนั้น ผู้ใดอาบน้ำ ณ ที่นั้น ย่อมได้ผลตามสัญญาแน่นอน—ไม่ต้องสงสัย
