ब्राह्मणाय प्रतिश्रुत्य यो दानं न प्रयच्छति । आहूय नास्ति यो ब्रूते तस्य वासस्तु संततम्

brāhmaṇāya pratiśrutya yo dānaṃ na prayacchati | āhūya nāsti yo brūte tasya vāsastu saṃtatam

ผู้ใดให้สัญญาจะถวายทานแก่พราหมณ์แล้วไม่ให้ และผู้ใดเรียกคนมาแล้วกล่าวว่า ‘ไม่มีอะไร’—ผู้นั้นย่อมมีที่พำนักในทัณฑ์นั้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง
