pṛṣṭau tau praṇatau rājñā yathāvṛttaṃ yathāśrutam | kathayāmāsatuḥ pārtha dānavau kākatāṃ gatau

เมื่อพระราชาทรงไต่ถาม ทั้งสองก็นอบน้อมแล้วกราบทูลเล่าตามที่เกิดขึ้นและตามที่ได้ยินทุกประการ โอ้ปารถะ—คือทานวะทั้งสองผู้แปลงกายเป็นอีกา
