सूर्य उवाच । वरं वरय भद्रं ते किं ते मनसि वाञ्छितम् । अदेयमपि दास्यामि ब्रूहि मां त्वं चिरं कृथाः
sūrya uvāca | varaṃ varaya bhadraṃ te kiṃ te manasi vāñchitam | adeyamapi dāsyāmi brūhi māṃ tvaṃ ciraṃ kṛthāḥ
พระสุริยะตรัสว่า: “จงเลือกพรเถิด ขอความเป็นสิริมงคลจงมีแก่ท่าน ใจท่านปรารถนาสิ่งใด? แม้สิ่งที่โดยปกติไม่พึงให้ เราก็จักประทาน จงบอกมาเถิด; ท่านได้บำเพ็ญตบะมาเนิ่นนานแล้ว”
