ศรีมารกัณฑेयกล่าวว่า: “ต่อจากนั้น โอ มหาราช พึงไปยังสถานศักดิ์สิทธิ์อันประเสริฐชื่อโยชเนศวร ที่ซึ่งในกัลปะก่อน ฤๅษีนรและนารายณะได้บรรลุสิทธิ”
