श्रीमार्कण्डेय उवाच । एवं भगवती पुण्या स्तुता सा मुनिपुंगवैः । चिन्तयामास सर्वेषां दास्यामि वरमुत्तमम्
śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | evaṃ bhagavatī puṇyā stutā sā munipuṃgavaiḥ | cintayāmāsa sarveṣāṃ dāsyāmi varamuttamam
ศรีมารกัณฑेयกล่าวว่า ครั้นพระเทวีภควตีผู้ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ถูกสรรเสริญโดยหมู่มุนีผู้เลิศแล้ว พระนางจึงดำริว่า ‘เราจักประทานพรอันประเสริฐแก่พวกเขาทั้งปวง’
