พระศรีมารกัณฑेयกล่าวว่า: ข้าแต่พระมหากษัตริย์มหีปาล ต่อจากนั้นพึงเสด็จไปยังพรหมตีรถะอันยอดยิ่งหาที่เปรียบมิได้ เป็นมหาสถานศักดิ์สิทธิ์ สูงยิ่งกว่าสถานทีรถะทั้งปวง
