विष्णुरुवाच । हेमन्तश्च भवेद्विष्णुर्विश्वरूपं चराचरम् । पालनाय जगत्सर्वं विष्णोर्माहात्म्यमुत्तमम्

viṣṇuruvāca | hemantaśca bhavedviṣṇurviśvarūpaṃ carācaram | pālanāya jagatsarvaṃ viṣṇormāhātmyamuttamam

พระวิษณุตรัสว่า: “ในฤดูเหมันตะ (ต้นหนาว) เรา พระวิษณุ เป็นวิศวรูปอันแผ่ซ่านไปทั่วสรรพสัตว์ทั้งที่เคลื่อนไหวและไม่เคลื่อนไหว เพื่อคุ้มครองและอุปถัมภ์โลกทั้งปวง นี่คือมหิมาอันประเสริฐยิ่งของพระวิษณุ”
