उभयतटपुण्यतीर्था प्रक्षालितसकलललोकदुरितौघा । देवमुनिमनुजवन्द्या हरतु सदा नर्मदा दुरितम्

ขอให้นรมทา—ผู้มีทั้งสองฝั่งเรียงรายด้วยตีรถะอันเป็นบุญ ผู้ชำระล้างกระแสแห่งบาปของโลกทั้งปวง และเป็นที่สักการะของเทวะ มุนี และมนุษย์—จงขจัดทุจริตของเราตลอดกาล
