मो षू ण॑ इ॒न्द्रात्र॑ पृ॒त्सु दे॒वैरस्ति॒ हि ष्मा॑ ते शुष्मिन्नव॒याः । म॒हश्चि॒द्यस्य॑ मी॒ढुषो॑ य॒व्या ह॒विष्म॑तो म॒रुतो॒ वन्द॑ते॒ गीः

Transliteration

mā ṣū ṇa índrā́tra pṛtsú deváir ásti hí ṣmā te śuṣminnavayā́ḥ | maháś cid yásya mīḍhúṣo yavyā́ havíṣmato marúto vándate gī́ḥ ||

Translation

โอ้อินทระ ขออย่าทรงทอดทิ้งพวกเรา ณ ท่ามกลางศึก พร้อมด้วยเหล่าเทพทั้งหลาย; เพราะพระองค์ผู้ทรงเดชานุภาพ มีเครื่องป้องกันอันมั่นคงแน่นอน. แม้เหล่ามรุตก็ยังนอบน้อมด้วยบทเพลง แด่ผู้ประทานอันยิ่งใหญ่ ผู้เอื้อเฟื้อ—แด่ผู้ถวายเครื่องบูชา.
