Transliteration a̱yám i̱há prathamáḥ dhā́yi dhā̱tṛ́bhir hótā yájiṣṭho adhvaréṣv ī́ḍyaḥ | yám apnavā́no bhṛ́gavo virurucúr váneṣu citráṃ vibhváṃ víśe-viśe
Translation อัคนีองค์นี้ได้ถูกสถาปนาไว้ ณ ที่นี้เป็นครั้งแรกโดยเหล่าผู้จัดวาง/ผู้กำหนด (dhātṛ): เป็นโหตฤ (Hotṛ) ผู้เหมาะยิ่งแก่การบูชายัญ เป็นผู้ควรสรรเสริญในพิธีกรรมทั้งหลาย; ผู้ซึ่งเมื่อเป็นผู้ได้มาซึ่งสาระ/ทรัพย์สมบัติ เหล่าภฤคุ (Bhṛgu) ได้ทำให้ท่านส่องประกายในป่า—สว่างไสว แผ่ซ่านทั่ว—ไปสู่ทุกตระกูล ทุกชุมชน.
