เพื่อการทรงไตรปุณฑระ บัณฑิตพึงรวบรวมเถ้าที่เกิดจากอัคนิโหตระ; หรือเถ้าที่เกิดจากยัญพิธีอื่น ๆ ก็ใช้ได้เช่นกัน।
