Praṇava-Māhātmya and the Twofold Mantra (Sūkṣma–Sthūla) in Śaiva Sādhanā

उत्तरोत्तर वै शिष्ट्यात्पूजायामुत्तरोत्तरम् । फलं वैशिष्ट्यरूपं च दुर्विज्ञेयं मनीषिभिः

uttarottara vai śiṣṭyātpūjāyāmuttarottaram | phalaṃ vaiśiṣṭyarūpaṃ ca durvijñeyaṃ manīṣibhiḥ

แท้จริง เมื่อการบูชาค่อย ๆ ประณีตและถูกต้องยิ่งขึ้น ผลแห่งการบูชาก็ค่อย ๆ สูงส่งยิ่งขึ้น; แต่ความแตกต่างเป็นชั้น ๆ ของผลนั้น แม้บัณฑิตก็ยากจะหยั่งรู้।
