दिवाऽतीते च गायत्रीं शतं नित्ये क्रमाज्जपेत् । आदर्शाहात्पराऽतीते गायत्रीं लक्षमभ्यसेत्

divā'tīte ca gāyatrīṃ śataṃ nitye kramājjapet | ādarśāhātparā'tīte gāyatrīṃ lakṣamabhyaset

เมื่อกิจแห่งกลางวันล่วงแล้ว พึงสวดภาวนา “คายตรี” ตามลำดับเป็นนิตย์ให้ครบหนึ่งร้อยจบ และเมื่อกาลที่กำหนดล่วงไปอีก พึงบำเพ็ญวัตรจปคายตรีอย่างเคร่งครัดจนถึงหนึ่งแสนจบ
