Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Paśupatinātha
Significance: Frames Śiva-upāsanā as producing both laukika (protection, removal of hostility) and ātmika fruits (growth of Śaivī vidyā and establishment in satya), aligning worldly order with spiritual maturation.
Type: stotra
It states the inner and outer fruits of aligning with Shiva (Pati): obstacles and hostile forces diminish, supportive influences increase, and Shaiva wisdom matures into steady truth-oriented discernment—supporting liberation.
Linga/Saguna Shiva worship purifies the mind and conduct; as devotion and discipline deepen, Shaiva vidya grows and the seeker’s intellect turns toward satya (truth), which naturally weakens adversarial tendencies and conditions.
Regular Shiva-upasana—japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), worship of the Linga with a truthful, sattvic life—so that śaivī vidyā increases and the mind becomes established in satya.
